THESE DAYS.....It would be more accurate if your guests or host would INCLUDE findings and research by Dr.S. Fred Singer, professor emeritus of environmental sciences at the University of Virginia and director of the nonprofit Science & Environmental Policy Project.
He states, "There is no scientific basis for concluding the climate is doing anything unprecedented or dangerous." also looking at the history of environmental issues as a POLITICAL AGENDA...Singer states, "Many well-meaning politicians are in the grips of a mania fed by political, not scientific studies. These studies ignore past warming and cooling periods. Science must never ignore physical evidence.....etc."
I feel that the best interchange between KPBS guests can be had by having guests who are more aware of, and that accept a scientific perspective as well as acknowledging the political agenda which has little to do with climate change and more to do with restrictions directed at "we the people" and other financial gain objectives for certain sectors.
Singer says, global warning is real but, "not in a way indicating carbon dioxide is the cause. Global warming stopped a decade ago."
I prefer accuracy and realism vs. hypothesis.
