'That what exists cannot later not exist.' (Albert Einstein). An execution merely extinguishes the physical and releases the spiritual into complete freedom. If you are executing an evil man, you end up with an evil spirit. So who or what are you punishing with the death penalty? A spiritual form over which you no longer have any control and have set free? Or a corpse which feels no sense of loss or forfeiture?
