Many Latinos may be white. Your commentator just said that the restaurant Grandma's WAS owned by an older white couple but now is owned by a Latino. Why don't you say Brown/different? Please stop mixing race and ethnicity to suit your descriptions of people. Are the Latino owners American? Why do we assume White means American? Can Latino-American be used to describe a person? How about saying White-American?If you are in doubt please check the US Census Bureau. Your report sounds racist to me.http://www.census.gov/prod/2001pubs/c...I have heard this same mixing done on many other media and I believe it is unnecessary to keep pointing out our differences.
