Family Restaurant Tells The Story Of Latino Growth In Oceanside

Many Latinos may be white. Your commentator just said that the restaurant Grandma's WAS owned by an older white couple but now is owned by a Latino. Why don't you say Brown/different? Please stop mixing race and ethnicity to suit your descriptions of people. Are the Latino owners American? Why do we assume White means American? Can Latino-American be used to describe a person? How about saying White-American?
If you are in doubt please check the US Census Bureau. Your report sounds racist to me.

I have heard this same mixing done on many other media and I believe it is unnecessary to keep pointing out our differences.
