As a retired and disabled Veteran, I fully support and sincerely appreciate the 'Discount" program that is offered to "Active" Duty Veterans.
My disappointment is that most of these programs "only" recognize present day military members, and they eliminate or disqualify those veteran’s that have served this country.
Where do we provide thanks and recognition to those who have served?
How do we move away from the standard of only recognizing those who are willing to serve in battle today, and not those who have served our country in the past?
