Gov. Brown Struggles With Tax Initiative

It's not going to happen. We are in the top three, or at the top, for state sales tax, car tax, and income tax. The tax he tried to get an extension on cost the average CA family $1,000 to $1,500 a year. Simply put we just don't have it anymore, we're tapped out. We can no longer keep the state union workers in the lifestyle they've grown accustomed to.

Latino Family Reflects On Conversion To Islam

"...and then, of course, 'The Autobiography of Malcolm X.'" What a strange sentence. Is that book high on the reading list of California's Latinos?

Entertainment News: 'Code Word: Geronimo'

Just a coincidence that Bigelow's (an Obama supporter) film comes out right before the election. As you know October is a big release month for movies (insert "roll eyes" emoticon here.)

Escondido Councilmember Responds To E-Verify Criticism

What a surprise. Kevin said that the Escondido programs are against "immigrants." Er, Kev, didn't you mean to say illegal immigrants (or to use your euphemism "undocumented workers")? How typical of the open border crowd.

I also like Kevin's final shot toward Gallo, and by extension other people against illegal immigration, "You and other conservatives..." Sorry Kevin me and many of my anti-illegal immigration friends are hardcore liberals. Liberals don't all support law breakers.

Understanding Changes To U.S. Deportation Policy

Pedro we all saw that this latest example of Hispandering was coming. Obama, who I voted for, is going to break whatever laws he feels like to attempt to give amnesty to those Hispanics who are criminals just by their act of illegal entry into our country.

Identity Theft Or Tactic To Keep Petition Off Ballot?

Please know that this fake ad is now tagged now says it's paid for by the phoney Identity theft organization AND union labor organizations (no fooling!).

Will We Have Another Grocery Strike?

I found it interesting that Maureen said that people didn't shop at the stores during the last strike to, "show support for the unions." Certainly that is true of a number of people, but I'm also sure a large number stayed away so they would not be bullied, intimated, or shouted at by union strikers.

What Are The Keys To Living "Young, Broke & Beautiful"?

This was pathetic. The interview was an opportunity for Stuart to get free advertising for his show. Instead of presenting himself he a good light, he sounds like he's speed rapping and he says he's hung-over. And some of his great tips--use your credit card instead of buying insurance when renting a car--duh. Check around for cable deal--double duh. Oh yeah, don't visit La Jolla or PB when visiting San Diego--uh, OK.
