to: thompsonrichardThank you for posting your viewpoint. I agree it is a proven method to remove people from office by solely focusing on negative aspects of said person's behaviors. It is obvious the power of media when you look at the average person's posts regarding Mayor Filner. They cannot do any more than regurgitate what they heard last on the news. DON'T MISINTERPRET WHAT I AM SAYING. I DO NOT support any sexual harassment behavior, particularly in the workplace. But shouldn't we also take into account Filner's accomplishments in his short time in office? I admit, I was skeptical about Filner before the election, and I did not vote for him. None of the candidates really stood out to me as an obvious choice. However, I feel Mayor Filner has the aggressive type of personality it takes to get things done in politics. We have to take the good with the bad. If he is willing to change his behavior, by whatever method that works for him, and on his own dime, I can accept that. Let's get back to getting San Diego back on track.
