One should not assume that baby boomers who answer a poll question about Obama's health care plan don't like it becasue it would be government health care. I am a baby boomer and I and my friends would answer that we don't like Obama's health care program because it does not go far enough to cover everyone and provide health care at a reasonable cost. Some media peple have figured this out, but others continue to assume older Americans don't want govvernment health care. This is a problem with the survery design (a subject on which I have studied). As the President wimps out about a public option and favors a mandate without it, I can no longer support his plan.
