Information For Job Seekers

I wish you luck Ed. Bi-Lingual folks are finding it hard to get work as well. My husband was recently denied a job as a dishwasher because he lacked “experience and/or skills.” It’s hard out here for everyone. But I thoroughly enjoyed the program today. BTW I love you username!

Information For Job Seekers

Thank you for having this program. It made me feel not so alone in the job search. I have been trying to help my husband find a job for 18 months with no luck. It's become a part time job for me. We felt like giving up but your program really helped. My husband will be going to the Career Center this week.
I would also like to address those callers who stated that because they did not speak Spanish they were not qualified for positions at Dominos or fast food. This is so untrue. My husband’s primary language is Spanish and he has been turned down for jobs at Taco Bell and Jack in the Box. The notion that Spanish is the barrier is ridiculous.
