I completely support this legislation. IMO, this mind-numbingly wasteful practice, which uses a tiny fraction of the shark to feed the egos of a tiny fraction of the human population while discarding the rest of the animal, needs to stop. As a scuba diver and a lover of Chinese food, I will not frequent any restaurant that has shark fin soup on its menu, whether their regular menu or one for special occasions.
