District Attorney Dumanis Re-Elected, Defeats 2 Challengers

Thank you so much to KPBS for their excellent election coverage. Their stories about the epic struggle to win the DA's office were informative and noteworthy. Please keep on top of the issues in regard to Bonnie Dumanis's illegal campaign funds and corruption in office, as I have it on good authority that a RECALL is being formulated to rid that judicial office of it's current malfeasance and lack of ethical conduct.

Prosecutor Confirms Records Sought By KPBS Exist In DA's Office

DO NOT re-elect her seconded! Dumanis called Padilla looking to get her boy Jesse Navarro a cushy job on the CV City Council. When Padilla rightly declined to accommodate her, Bonnie then began to "investigate" Steve Castaneda for "thinking about buying a condo." Had Steve Castaneda been found guilty, he would have been forced off the Chula Vista Council, & I bet Bonnier would be right back on the phone to ask that her goon Navarro be appointed, PLEASE SAN DIEGO: OPEN YOUR EYES, for God's Sake! This is NOT JUSTICE!!! Vote NOT DUMANIS!

Ex-Chula Vista Councilman Wants DA To Release Emails

If Bonnie Dumanis had a SHRED of dignity and morality--which she DOESN'T, then she would hang her head in shame for what she did to Steve Castaneda. But it is just business as usual for her here. And this is not the only totally objectionable misuse of power that our D.A. has exhibited. I am happy to hear that one of the Sweetwater defendants penned a lengthy letter to the judge in the South Bay courtroom, insisting that Bonnie Dumanis used the corruption case she concocted against the Hispanic defendants as publicity for her (failed) mayoral campaign. "Salcido wrote a lengthy letter to Chula Vista Superior Court Judge Espana, contending that the entire probe was politically motivated by District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis" (http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2014/A...)

Phone Call Raises Questions About DA Dumanis' Chula Vista Investigations

My take? Dopey Dumanis was looking to please her boss, Supervisor Greg Cox by brown-nosing his wife, Chula Vista Mayor Cheryl Cox by interjecting herself into Chula Vista politics and trying to insert a friendly Hispanic on the City Council.
Of course, this pal of Bonnie's that she was trying to get a job for is really just another flunkie from the DA's office.

However, if Bonnie could force Jesse Navarro into a position on the Council, he undoubtedly would have been told to play nice with Mayor Cox because Dumanis was calling the shots. Just another example of useless hack Dumanismixing POLITICS into an office that is SUPPOSED to be above it.

San Diego County DA Dumanis Lags In Fundraising Among Legal Professionals

I'm just glad someone, ANYONE stepped up to challenge the Dirty DA. I think Bob Brewer is just hoping that his name being on the ballot as a choice OTHER THAN DUMANIS might be enough to put him over the top. Here's hoping!
