SD Community Farm Padlocked

Has it been considered to open the garden to other ethnic or immigrant groups? I feel that things are too splintered when funding is diverted to only one group for something that many others would be interested in. If that group is having difficulty getting enough farmers to participate, why not invite other folks like Roots? That seems successful. Why not use that as a guide? Good food, fresh food should be available to everyone.
It would also be a way of folks learning our language. Common goals. A garden could ease one into a new language if other languages were introduced. I was surprised that someone who had been here for 30 years still needed an interpreter.
