Does the Surfrider Foundation have any credibility left? I too have EasyTurf at my home and it drains far better than the natural grass that it replaced. There is no run-off whatsoever. What science did he base his comments on? He wants everyone to plant native shrubs instead of having a usable back yard space for dogs and children to play and exercise. Doesn't sound logical to me. As for the comment about the temperature rising three degrees if everyone in San Diego installed EasyTurf, well if everyone in San Diego did just about anything, it would have an effect, one way or the other. What is the liklihood that of anything close to that happening compared to the amount of water, pesticides and fertililzers that I am saving right now?
