Impact Of "Living Wage" On San Diego?

On the living wage ordinance: The man who spoke about wages while giving the example of remodeling his house is obviously incapable of understanding the problems of those people who serve him in restaurants, in stores, and perhaps even some of the workers paid by his contractors. San Diegans, like all Americans, want something for nothing. In a capitalistic society, this does not exist.

The Sarah Palin Effect in California Politics

BITE YOUR TONGUE about Sarah Palin moving to CA! She is the perfect example of LACK of intellectual curiousity. After being nominated to the second-highest office in the land, she seemed to just 'wing it' in every interview she ever gave. Remember her answer to "what newspapers do you read?" How about when she identified Africa as a country? How about her ignorance of the Bush Doctrine? And most recently, perpetuating the myth of "death panels." Women CAN and DO do better than this, and it bothers me that Sarah Palin might be considered a role model.
