Being in Military medicine and dealing with PTSD it is amazing how many soldiers, sailors and Marines are coming back with it. Some try and help while others don't understand. It is hard for many vets to walk into a place and try and talk to others when we look at their chests and realize that those that we are to talk to have never been where we have been. Kind of like trying to talk constreuction to a brain surgeon, you may get somewhere but it probably won't be anywhere near where you wanted. Then we get to deal with the public looks and stares when we say we have PTSD. Many may not mean the looks of distrust that appear, but it happens and is noticed by many of us. I am glad to see articles being done upon this topic though. They may help everyone to understand a little bit more.
