While the article is fair, I would dispute one point: The Regent's road bridge is not only an issue for University City, but an issue for the whole region, for anyone that wants to preserve San Diego's precious open space. Rose canyon is a gem, and it draws people who love to hike, bike and enjoy nature from the entire city. Even within District 1, it is an issue for many people outside of University City, particularly those who live on the North Side of Penasquitos Canyon and Crest Canyon and have fought to preserve outdoor space.
All of us who love San Diego's Open spaces, region wide and throughout District 1, are fighting against the Regent's road bridge.
