District should trim/slim its structure to increase efficiency and cut wasteful spending!I recently encountered an incident at school district. My client made an online purchase for the items to ship to the school. Shipping charge was paid by the client and UPS would drop the packages off right at the client's office/school. However, public school districts or this particular district has a rule that all package will be delivered to district warehouse and the warehouse will take a truck to deliver to the custodian's office at each school, then custodians will distribute them.
The money to maintain the truck, truck driver, the extra time cost to the custodians to deliver the package, which can be saved if the district would just allow UPS, FedEx to do what they are paid to do!
Every little things count!
