NRC Meeting Offers Status Update On Restart Plan For San Onofre

hi, i have a question... you mentioned in your extensive interview that a busses of union members were in attendance, (ones driving themselves were even given a cost co gift card for the gas they spent getting there..) and yet throughout the entire interview, there was not one mention of the events still taking place at FUKUSHIMA and how that was influencing opposition to the restart of the plant. also, you offered a recording of some very technical terms describing the problems with san onofre. that was somewhat confusing. i can help with that, but in a language most can understand, they modified the original design and did not go through the proper channels for approval before starting the reactor. the parts failed, radiation leaked, which brings me to my next point... there is absolutely no safe level of radiation exposure. period. the profile of this show states that your keeping "san diegans in the know"...are you journalists or are you PR for the nuclear industry? i strongly suggest people go to or or, or look up anything by dr. helen caldicot.
lastly, your lack of informing people of the dangers of nuclear power, the affects of the radiation still leaking from fukushima traveling on the trade winds covering southen california, as well as the real reason nuclear power is used, which is to make weapons! (and for gods sake, do not eat pacific seafood). is a crime against humanity.
