If all a person cares about is saving money and not the environment then fake grass is a real solution. But the production of fake grass in massive factories and the carbon footprint that the actual product leaves, not to mention the fact that it raises global warming makes it a very unfriendly environmental product and anyone who truly cares about the environment should stay away from it. Besides, its tacky and ugly! I'd be embarassed to have rug in my garden! Leave the environment to mother nature--she is much better at it then human beings! And she has better taste!
