Poll Shows Kevin Faulconer Is Front Runner In San Diego Mayoral Race

We are all human. I understand that you have your views on issues. Other people also have their views on issues. Nothing is wrong about this.

But this is exactly what is wrong when politics are involved. People cling too strongly to ideologies as opposed to pragmatically doing what is best to the ordinary people, be it businessmen, white collar workers, blue collar workers, or even the unemployed and homeless. We are a country composed of people with differing ideals and needs. Only when we are all taken care of are we truly a nation united under God indivisible.

Nathan Fletcher is human. His views when he was under 18 years of age might be vastly different from those when he joined the military, after her left the military, when he was in the State Assembly, when he was single, after he married, after he had kids, when his kids are in college, when he is retired, etc. He might become a great mayor of San Diego.

Would you have predicted if Carl Demaio or Bob Filner would be a good mayor around this time last year?

San Diego Council Committee Report Recommends Change In Pothole Protocol

"Switching from a complaint-based system . . . to a regional strategy, in which all the potholes in a given area are fixed."

Thank God, somebody finally woke up and saw the problem. I have seen some pot holes filed up while other pot holes right next remain unfilled. Couldn't figure out why. Thought the contractors were somehow just milking the system.

California Water Supply To Be Drawn From Storage To Meet Demand

In this day and age, not many people and government agencies are trust worthy. Who knows if this is not another gimmick for DWR to lay the ground for rate hikes to come?

Filner Gets Outside Counsel For TMD Suit, Goldsmith Responds

Well, a few years ago, the republicans in City Hall gave the then City Attorney Mike Aguirre a lot of headaches and eventually got him out of the City Attorney's office. Now that the democrats are in the City Hall, will the same fate be waiting for Jan Goldsmith?

When the republican city attorneys were working in sync with the republican mayors in the 1990s and early 2000s, we did not see as much in fight. But we ended up seeing the huge pension deficit by surprise.

Which is better?
Don't we expect to see checks and balances in our governments?

New Superior Court Judges To Take Office

I actually voted for Gary Kreep for the wrong reason. And I am sure a lot of people did the same and that was why he won in the election. I wish I had more information about him before the election. The election materials don't tell the voters enough about the candidate. I can easily say I am a family law attorney and I fight for justice for abused women and neglected children the in my statement without more and I guarantee that I will get the support of a lot of voters.
