I am the 3rd of 4 children: Laura, Frank, Christopher, and I am Janna (pronounced John-na). It was an adaptation my Filipino mother came up with. It was tough as a child to get people to pronounce and/or spell it correctly but that goal of creating or guiding the personality of your child towards uniqueness definitely worked for me. Since I could talk I would correct people on the pronunciation or spelling with confidence as I was not going to have my very special name misinterpreted. I love my name and what it has done for me.
