Food Insecurity? So THAT is what we upper-crust Americans call "hunger" these days? All of the politically correct phrases our society has created for fear of hurting someone's feelings has fallen to a new low with "Food Insecure". Are we afraid of hurting a hungry person's feelings by calling him hungry? I suggest that all the energy and time and money put into the creation of the new term, "Food Insecurity" could have indeed been better used to put food into the mouths of hungry people. The hungry people in Africa are called starving; the hungery people in America, the land of the free and brave, are called.....food insecure. It's an insult to all of us, the hungry especially.
