I'm so so excited about this change. I had to go to other sources for my news in the evenings, and I really love being able to hear news in the evenings now. Not only that, but I like the additional shows and love that the positively awful "Here and Now" is being changed to a lesser time slot. I'd be even more overjoyed if that terrible show was eradicated completely from KPBS. But for all of those people who are saying that they will contribute less to the station in the future, I will do my part to contribute more to offset them. KPBS is a news station; it is great to hear more news.
