even the committed can find public transit from one place to another a trial in san diego-i am committed to public transportation and use it daily but to visit my cousin in vista from clairemont would take 7 hours for a 1 hour visit starting from sorrento valley and 8 hours starting in clairemont - on a weekday if i didnt miss a connection- and i don't know about bathroom facilities along the route- which if necessary would extend the trip time-and to get to my place of worship in la jolla on a sunday from clairemont would take an hour if i made the connection-the rock and roll marathon - which put extra trolleys in service -slowed the trolleys from east county even in the evening -and transit knew the trolleys were late but trolley dispatchers dont communicate with the buses so i missed my 7:12 pm connecting bus by one half minute- it was at the signal in fashion valley - and it runs once an hour on sunday evenings and stops running at 8:12 pm so good thing i didnt miss the last bus and good thing i wasnt trying to get to a job-many who must take the bus and have long commutes to work as a result cant wait to buy a cheap car and many non-profits sell cheap cars to make money-there is more to this picture than meets the proverbial eye-
