The judge violated the populist views but America was not created for populists and the pastor better take notes.
America was founded by people trying to escape persecution. They did not come here to spread religion. They left their homes and risked their families lives to find a better life without being told what to do, in most occasions, by the church. If they only wanted religion they could have stayed where they were.
The American way is to believe in the separation of church and state. Just because religions have perverted our country through populism doesnt mean the judge betrayed the people. As a matter of fact, the judge needs to be praised for not bowing down to populist pressure.
And here is another thing religious folks need to chew on. There is a huge movement of people who believe that religion begets evil due to ignorance and self proclaimed faith. Every time you believe blindly through faith, you spit in the creators face who gave you tools that can look past emotion and animal instinct. Leave the gays alone and celebrate your marriages outside of the law. No one is forcing you do anything inside your own church.
