I have two terrier pups and I didn't have any interest in watching the show until my husband told me what the show was about and mentioned the good reviews. We watched it from Episode 1 and were hooked immediately.
One reviewer mentioned Hawaii Five-O...funny thing is that my husband and LOVE Hawaii and thought the show was photographed beautifully...but we thought it was so weak compared to Terriers and actually stopped watching Five-O partway through the season.
I think that the title Terriers turned off quite a few people. I understand the name but I think it needed a subtitle to explain it. Quite a few times I had to tell people "no, it's NOT a show about dogs..."
Sure hope another network picks up this gem. I can't believe how attached I became to the characters. There have been a few shows I have liked more, but probably none that I will miss more. Does that make sense?
