Hats off to both candidates and the host for a largely civil, issues-oriented debate.
It's curious that Roberts claims SD County is the best-run County govt in the state if not the nation... particularly considering:(1) the homeless issue noted above(2) the long-standing failure of the county to run an effective food stamp program, and(3) the fire protection problems.
Looks like it's time to end the 5-Republican 15-year monopoly at the County Board of Supervisors. The question is how many people will get out there and vote?
