A win/win cycle

Problem: Birds poop on residential sidewalks

Issue: Large birds concentrate on street light arms

Concerns:

1. To rinse sidewalk or not
2. Which washes poop into ocean
3. Or leave poop on sidewalk where it is a possible health issue
4. And uses water

Possible Remedy: Place low cost “bird spike strips” on street light arms

Result: Birds land on trees where poop becomes fertilizer

Benefit: Trees consume carbon dioxide
