Liberty Station would be an excellent location for the new Central Library - who says buildings have to be new? These refurbished spaces are large open and filled with natural light. The courtyards invite lounging in the grass; strolling to the omnipresent Starbucks or many other eateries is always a pleasant experience. As a neighborhood resident I sigh when riding my bike past the many occupant- ready EMPTY buildings just waiting to come to life. There is a 6,000 sq. foot auditorium in desparate need of renovation and purpose. The city mandated this neighborhood - how about partnering with the NTC Foundation to bring some bigtime curtural events here. We have lots of parking!
