San Diego Homeless Program 'Project 25' Is Running Out Of Money

These people should be the poster children for what all these homeless shelters and free handouts do. Enable people to continue to be homeless and drunk on the streets.

Where are you getting this information? What tactical knowledge do you have of 1/2 mile spotting on wind driven fires? Do you have any experience to back up this claim?

Who Works Minimum Wage Jobs In San Diego?

What happened to paying your dues and sacrificing for an education or technical training. If you devalue the middle earners who often are the bulk of the working class how will that translate to more success for the uneducated, unmotivated, and unskilled? You simply cannot reward mediocrity and below. Thats a foolish business model. When in the world has anyone ever gone to their boss and said i brought nothing to the table now give me a huge raise?

Environmentalists Try To Limit Off-Road Vehicle Use At Ocotillo Wells

Limiting ohv activity to just singular areas will cause for greater destruction than allowing the free rain of the area. Just look at what the human foot is capable of on the climb up cowles mountain. The train has been re-done many times due to the constant foot traffic. So should we tell people not to enjoy this beautiful place? Why not have a little compassion for our neighbors having fun in the desert? Stop trying to infringe on the freedoms of humans. It is our world to enjoy. There are millions of acres of untouched land to enjoy from a hike, the air, or a photograph. Being a democratic world we live in, why not put it up to a vote? My guess is that the eviro whackos would get crushed by people who have hobbies and families. The courts have far more important issues to tend to.

PETA's Anti-SeaWorld Poster To Go Up At Lindbergh Field

Pretty lame that you have to sue to get your way. If an entity doesnt want to display your sign they should be allowed to can your idea. Especially if it is to discredit a local attraction.

San Diego To Explore Raising Minimum Wage Without Public Vote

j2kenned if you are an economist then you realize that this raise is not congruent with that of the average worker. You said it yourself hardwork and perseverance. Why would you remove that incentive alone. Rewarding mediocrity and lower is not a principle adopted by any successful business.

What Would A 'Frictionless Border' Between San Diego And Tijuana Look Like?

If we are able to help stabilize and grow mexico this concept would be amazing. Until then this is just a pipe dream. There is no economic incentive at this time to head a short bit south.

San Diego To Explore Raising Minimum Wage Without Public Vote

What tangible assets do the people bring to these companies to justify such a massive raise? Since the minimum is going up, should the middle and maximum? Why should my valuable skills be devalued for those who have keyword here, chosen a life and career path that is far easier. Education and training are choices one makes when evaluating your self worth as an employee or leader. I went to technical schools, attend hundreds of hours of ongoing specialized training, and actively try to better myself so I may better serve my community. San Diego is not a place you can afford to live on minimum wage. You must either better yourself or commute.
