This seems pretty Marxist... anyone that is "qualified" can goto college. I can't believe San Diegan's would want a non-competitive college! Do you think Stanford or Berkley (which are pretty left) just allows "qualified" people that live around their school to be automatically admitted? If you want SDSU to be the equilivent of a community college then support Marty Block, if you think San Diego should become a center for advanced education with three competitive universitites UCSD, USD, and SDSU then lets keep admission difficult for SDSU!
