County To Consider Extending Runway at McClellan-Palomar Airport

From what I hear there is enough room to make the runway comparable to John Wayne. Isn't that where we are really going with this? And to move in next to an airport and complain about noise?

North County Regional Vision Takes Flight At Palomar Airport

According to rumours, if the runway is extended it could be as long as John Wayne International. I live just a bit south of the airport. With fog coming in yesterday afternoon you should have heard the number of 'planes scrambling to get out and the associated noise. I loved the noise. Maybe just a junkie for burnt kerosene.

It is "the sound money". Unfortunately I hate to see Carlsbad grow up (used to watch crop dusters fly the canyons next to my place) but, as a 1,000,000 plus business traveler, I see the advantages as opposed to driving to Lindberg field.

Would rather have an airport than strip malls.

Quarry Creek - A Carlsbad Conundrum

I'm sure that the Planning Commission has a financial analyst who can work with McMillan to validate the numbers. Right?

Is I-5 Expansion An Environmental Disaster?

Extend the Disneyland-Alweg Monorail to San Diego. Private business can deal with the feeder routes.
