Home Energy Audits are a great tool for home owners. As the article mentions, upgrading older homes can really get expensive and not provide much return, but the long term benefits reach far beyond the wallet.
A typical single family home contributes to 11.55 metric tons of CO2 emissions per YEAR. Reducing your homes energy usage just 25% is the equivalent of taking (1) car off the road per year or planting 2.3 ACRES of mature forests per YEAR!
I think its time for everyone to get a Home Energy Audit today, since we will never plant enough forests to offset our carbon emissions. Do you part TODAY and get a Home Energy Audit from TreeFrog Builders!
