Feds Say Californians Reaping Benefits Of Obamacare

"And seniors with Medicare have saved more than $450 million on prescription drugs." this is so misleading - when anyone 'saves' on something in healthcare, it means someone else is paying a higher price so that person can 'save'. it's why america pays so much for Rx drugs - so everyone else in the world can have it cheaper. and the last line is the caveat for the whole deal...

VA's Ability To Quickly Provide Benefits Plummets Under Obama

even 4 months is too long to wait. they should be processed in 30 days. it's not a lot to ask when these veteran's have kept up their end of the bargain for however many years they served. goal should be 30 days or less, not 4 months.

Supervisors Oppose Closing Ramona Air Traffic Control Tower

how many of these supervisors voted their SAME representative or senator into office? D.C.'s dysfunction won't change unless we all change who's in D.C.

Location Will Make A Difference In Price Of Health Insurance

really interesting comments about poor people, fat people, HIV/high risk people, uneducated people, etc.. the whole point of obama-nightmare-care is for that very list of people who can't afford healthcare (poor/poverty), or who have pre-existing conditions (possibly fat people and/or HIV/high risk people) to actually receive health insurance, and get care, and for the cost to be evenly spread out - isn't that what 52% of the country voted for during the presidential election when obama was re-relected and obamacare's fate was sealed? now all you "healthy" people are complaining about that and/or concerned how it is going to affect your wallet. wow - amazing. if all you healthy living people were to be involved in a car accident that led to you needing a great deal of medical care, i'm sure the poor/poverty/fat/HIV/high risk/uneducated people wouldn't balk at having to help pay the cost for your care. some perspective would be good, that wasn't degrading to others.

Camp Pendleton Rejects Atheist Music Festival

it was a Wounded Warrior Battalion appreciation dinner and concert sponsored by a church - would you want a church that is sponsoring the event to play music other than christian music?

it was not a music "festival" supporting religion. a music festival would indicate many, many, bands playing - not one band playing "several" songs. if a music festival was advertised as such, and patrons went and saw one band play "several" songs, they would most likely want their money back. comparing it to a festival is where i have my issues.

the focus of the event was on the wounded warriors, lifting their spirits, saying thank you to them for their service, etc....

and, again, ANYONE can sponsor a wounded warrior event. why don't the atheist choose to support the wounded warrior battalion on pendleton with a dinner and concert of their own - i am sure the atheist wounded warriors would appreciate it.

quote from the very beginning of the article, "Weapons and Field Training Battalion hosted a dinner and concert for the Wounded Warriors Battalion at Edson Range...".

KPBS' very obvious bias against christianity is on full display - and like i said - it's good to know my tax dollars are going to biased journalism.

Camp Pendleton Rejects Atheist Music Festival

i think KPBS' description of the event you linked to as being a "christian music festival" is a serious misrepresentation and you should correct it. it was a dinner celebrating the wounded warrior battalion. any group, including an atheist one, could have sponsored that dinner, it just so happens a church did. bad reporting, false reporting, very obviously biased reporting. glad my tax dollars are going to this kind of journalism...
