Pot Dispensaries Remain In Legal Limbo

Marijuana is a weed that grows rampant in the ground. It's not a complex combination of chemicals which requires the industrial complex to transform it into something other than what occurs in nature. It is not addictive, you can't overdose on it and it helps some people with anything from a headache to a stubbed toe. According to your argument, yoga and jogging should be outlawed because of the serotonin high they create. Greed, imperialism, destruction of the environment need greater legislation and controls; personal liberties do not. We already live in a police state. As usual, the focus is on the wrong issue.

Pot Dispensaries Remain In Legal Limbo

Does the doctor prescribe Sativa or Indica? Does the doctor prescribe AK47 or Hawaiian Skunk? Who but you decides between Knobb Hill and Wild Turkey or between Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon? The comparison between heroin-morphine and cannabis is far less accurate than one between alcohol and cannabis. It is of course premature, but, before the year is out, I expect cannabis will be legal for recreational use, and will be regulated and taxed similarly to alcohol or tobacco. And this, I feel strongly, is a good thing.
