KPBS has a planned power outage, due to set up of our new backup generator, scheduled for Saturday, May 18th from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., impacting our live stream, FM and TV.
An afterthought to my first comment.....how dare you make such a monumental change without taking a survey of your listeners!! I thought this was PUBLIC radio. It sounds like you have other motives.
Oh this is very bad news. Performance Today is my favorite evening show, not to mention The Writer's Almanac. I don't have a computer in the living room, so that won't work. There is way too much BBC on the station now, more will be even worse. I'm afraid you've lost a listener.
