Did anyone notice the "too big to fail" banks settled for $25 billion -- on $24 TRILLION in bail-out money? Sweet, eh?
I've heard endless horror stories about "mortgage modification" which all end the same way -- the banks "lose" the paperwork, leaving the homeowner hamstrung. I've read the exact same story over and over again.
The banks can stand to take one hell of a haircut. As in a debt jubilee. We've painted ourselves into a corner. Not just homeowners who are underwater, but the US in general. That central bank (the third in US history) isn't doing anyone good aside from the bankers who run it. Andrew Jackson and Ron Paul had and have the right idea -- a central bank is NEVER a good idea. Only the US Treasury Department can, Constitutionally, create what we call money.
Well, let's hope that SDG&E fails in their redoubled attempt to charge small solar producers $30 a month to "use their lines" -- kind of thing that makes me want to get quotes on a battery bank and go off the grid entirely.

As others have pointed out, there are no positive effects to the consumption of fluoride in any amount. Fluoride is a toxin. The notion of adding it to drinking water is insane.
Marijuana should have never been made illegal -- it's a WEED. Yet somehow after the government makes a stupid mistake, it's nearly impossible to correct. You want to know what the big deal is going to be once marijuana is no longer illegal? COMMERCIAL HEMP. You can make fuel, plastics, cloth, paint, food et cetera et cetera out of its very long fibers and useful seeds. Its delightful intoxicating properties will be dwarfed by NON-PETROLEUM and NON-CHEMICAL sources for common products!
Taking psych drugs? What do you think that Big Pharma fears the most? Legal marijuana! They can't patent it. A glass of wine and a puff on a pipe at the end of the day -- no pills needed, thank you.
Prop 19 is forty years overdue. I hope it passes in a landslide. Make sure to apply for permanent absentee voter status so that e-voting can't steal another election (which is what it was designed to do)!
