Rachael Ortiz Hispanic Heritage Month I'm Pierre Habis of Union Bank. Diversity is one of our most closely held values. This is why we're proud to honor Local Heroes in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Let's meet one of our honorees. I"m Rachael Ortiz and I'm Executive Director of Barrio Station. We are dedicated to juvenile delinquency prevention and intervention in youth violence and gangs and our programs are set up to provide them with alternatives and a safe haven. Youth centers are very, very important because of all the exploitation of our kids. To understand this and to support neighborhood centers it's the beginning of a good start for the future generations of our country because we are going to save a lot of lives from devastation, deterioration, and they're going to become good future leaders. This moment has been made possible by Union Bank in partnership with KPBS.
