I'm Pierre Habis at Union Bank at Union Bank. Diversity is one of our most closely held values. This is why we're proud to honor local heroes in celebration of Jewish American Heritage Month. GMACH: I am Jackie Gmach and I am the community outreach coordinator for the initiative for moral courage at San Diego State University. I think it's very important to understand who we are and where we are coming from. We started to develop Jewish community events, primarily the San Diego Jewish Book Fair. This book fair became the top book fair in the country. And it was the beginning of the San Diego Jewish Film Festival. We worked very hard to bring in Jewish music. As long as there is an understanding of each other there is a possibility to establish the concept of respect for each other. ANNOUNCER: This moment has been made possible by Union Bank in partnership with KPBS.
