Video Transcript:
I'm Pierre Habis with Union Bank. Diversity is one of our most closely held values. This is why we're proud to honor local heroes in celebration of Disability Awareness Month. I'm Bill Bodry. I'm the founder of Challenge Center. I had a scoliosis as a child and was operated on at age five. At age 28, re-doing that surgery, it ended up leaving me paralyzed at T-12. I began searching for programs. There were very, very few. I determined that if it was going to be I would have to start it. The Challenge Center is a second chance at rehabilitation for people with catastrophic and chronic conditions. With licensed physical therapists working here and an unlimited amount of time to work with people allows us to take everyone to their maximum potential. This moment has been made possible by Union Bank in partnership with KPBS.
