Mission Hills Community: Stylish & Spirited Halloween Treat

For the month of October, style mavens, Valerie and Jimmy Ferrari of Le Bel Age and With Love boutiques, transform the 1600 shopping block of West Lewis street in Mission Hills Community to a Halloween delight. The block and local shops will be decked in lit pumpkins, “couture skeletons” and vintage inspired décor. Visitors and shoppers will relish the can’t-be-missed Signature Events.

Halloween In the Hills, October 13th, 6 to 9 pm: This open house event kicks off the Signature events, serving food and wine featuring performances by Gregory Page and his Imaginary Band at Salon Bell. Lou Fanucchi on the accordion will be strolling the pumpkin lined streets, while street performers and haunted guests will entertain visitors and shoppers who come out to enjoy our Halloween decor and tricks and treats. In addition, local artist Elizabeth Weems will feature her art at With Love.
Calamitous and Curious Tea Party, October 15th, noon to 5 pm: A ghoulish tea party that celebrates vintage style Halloween decor and couture skeletons. Tea and treats will be served from noon to dusk.
The Contested and Clandestine Open House, Saturday, October 22nd, noon to 5 pm: Features vintage style décor, treats and champagne.
It’s Time to Eat, Drink and Be Scary, Saturday, October 29th, noon to dusk: Features trick and treats in the pumpkin lined street.

Valerie and Jimmy Ferrari are the creative and stylish proprietors of Le Bel Age, With Love and Salon Bella –located in the 1600 block of West Lewis. Each year, this shopping block is decked in ligts, pumpkins and vintage inspired décor. The month of October is highlighted by a series of open house themed events.
