Film Movement Screening: 'Clandestine Childhood' - CANCELLED

Join us at the Central Public library for the film screening of "Clandestine Childhood" originally titled "Infancia clandestina." The film will be shown on October 26th starting at 12pm.

About the Film:
After years of exile, Juan and his family come back to Argentina under fake identities. The threat of capture and even death is constant. However, Juan's daily life is also full of warmth and humor, and he quickly and easily integrates into his new environment.

Similar to the theme of displacement in the 2013 One Book One San Diego selection “Caleb’s Crossing”, this film depicts a youth assuming a new identiy in an effort to fit in as Caleb does in his effort to enter Harvard.

Location: New Central Public Library, 330 Park Blvd (at 11th Ave. & Park Blvd.) San Diego, CA Google Map
