African American Book Discussion: 'Confined & Refined'

Join Dr. Camille F. Forbes, from the Literature Department at UCSD, as she facilitates book discussions on February 3rd from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM of "The Girl Who Fell from the Sky" by Heidi Durrow.

She will also discuss James McBride's "The Color of Water" on February 24th from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM, exploring how identity is confined or refined by society's ideas and definitions of concepts such as beauty, class, and race.
