About The Squid And The Whale (2009):
All is not well in the Berkman’s Brooklyn townhouse. Noah Baumbach’s jabbing, acidly witty black comedy blends humor and sadness as it explores the fallout on 16-year-old Walt (Jesse Eisenberg) and 12-year-old Frank (Owen Kline), caught in the fray of an acrimonious divorce between their literary parents (Jeff Daniels, Laura Linney).
(81 minutes) Discussion to follow.
