Leftover Salmon will be performing at The Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach on Sunday, March 30, 2014!

This "Polyethnic Cajun Slamgrass" band from Boulder delivers a jam packed with bluegrass, rock, country, and Cajun/Zydeco to produce an undeniably unique sound.

Looking back over the last 25 years of rootsy, string-based music, the impact of Leftover Salmon is impossible to deny. Formed in Boulder in 1989 by Drew Emmitt (vocals, guitar, fiddle, mandolin), Vince Herman (vocals, guitar, washboard) and Mark Vann (electric banjo), the Colorado slamgrass pioneers were one of the first bluegrass bands to add drums and tour rock & roll bars, moves that helped Salmon become a pillar of the jam band scene.

After Vann lost his battle with cancer in 2002, the remaining members of Leftover Salmon worked to honor his wish of pursuing music until they reached an indefinite hiatus in 2005.

Tickets: $26 adv, $28 day of, $46 reserved. Although the show starts at 8:00 PM, doors will open at 7:00 PM.
