THIS EVENT IS IN THE PAST!
Critically acclaimed Filipina jazz singer and cultural trailblazer Charmaine Clamor makes a rare San Diego appearance. Heralded as one of finest young vocalists in jazz by the New York Times, she’s the originator of “Jazzipino,” a new musical genre melding traditional Filipino folk songs, such as the “Kundiman” and the “Harana” and instruments with American jazz and blues.
November 1, 2014 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
