Two nationally known Native lesbian/Two-Spirit poets will showcase their work in a reading that highlights contemporary Native writing. Chrystos is a Menominee activist and poet whose work appears in the iconic collection "This Bridge Called My Back". Janice Gould is a Koyoonk'auwi Maidu scholar and writer who is the Poet Laureate of the Pikes Peak Region.
Both authors will be available for signing their books after the reading. Co-sponsored with the LGBT Multicultural Literary Foundation.
