Fourth Of July BBQ Block Party At Kitchen 4140

This Fourth of July, Kitchen 4140 will celebrate the land of the free and the home of the brave with a BBQ Block Party on Saturday, July 4 from 6-9 p.m. The community-centric restaurant will team up with its forthcoming neighbor Bitter Brothers Brewing Company to transform the vast back lot into a party complete with chef Kurt Metzger’s best barbeque recipes and craft beers never before tasted in San Diego. This festive bash is primed to be one of the most elaborate cookouts in town while its location atop a canyon will provide guests with stellar views of San Diego’s annual Fourth of July fireworks, starting at 9 p.m.

Priced at $65 per person, Kitchen 4140’s dishes will be inspired by classic summer fare from all corners of the country:

The feast will include Maryland-inspired Crab Cakes, Kansas City Style Ribs, Tuscan Lemon Chicken, Grilled Clams and Chorizo in a beer broth, CK’s Baked Beans (a special secret recipe), Smoked Brisket, Pulled Pork, Beer Smoked Ribs, German Potato Salad, Arugula and Roasted Corn Salad with Smoked Salmon, Mixed Berry Cobbler and Coconut Bread Pudding. Bitter Brothers Brewing will provide a range of their newly developed core and seasonal craft beers to help guests stay tastefully hydrated.
