Both sorrowful and inspiring, "The Good Fight" explores a significant gap in our history through its use of news clips, old photographs and interviews with survivors. Spurred to aid Spanish Democracy, thousands of American volunteers fought with the Abraham Lincoln Brigade during the Spanish Civil War (1936-39). The soldiers who returned were blacklisted, branded Communist sympathizers and unable to get work.
