Literature Talk: Don Quixote: The Man Of La Mancha

Professor Jorge Mariscal of Literature Dept at UCSD discusses the greatness, radicalism and relevance of what is considered perhaps the greatest novel ever, and one of the foundational works in all Western culture. Published in two volumes, in 1605 and 1615, Don Quixote appears high on lists of the greatest works of fiction ever published. Sally forth with the self-created knight-errant and his faithful squire, Sancho Panza, as they travel through sixteenth-century Spain.
