Come and enjoy a special afternoon with Jenna Blum at her west coast speaking debut as she discusses her first best-selling novel "Those Who Save Us." Followed by book signing with the author.

Blum is a New York Times and international bestselling author as well as one of Oprah’s Top 30 Women Writers. Her book "Those Who Save Us" offers a unique German perspective on the Holocaust and won the 2005 Ribalow Prize, an award adjudged by Elie Wiesel. Combing a doomed love story, a vivid evocation of life during the war, and a poignant mother/daughter drama, "Those Who Save Us" is a profound exploration of what we endure to survive and the legacy of shame.

Made possible in part by the Carlsbad Library and Arts Foundation’s Robert H. Gartner Cultural Endowment Fund.
